Kinda stand alone, requires you to be attacked Imperious Perfect - Low drop with a very nicely costed ability Wolfbriar Elemental - Pretty underestimated Verdant Force - very high costed, but another every upkeep effect Ant Queen - pretty bad creature, but an abusable, cheap mana sink Trostani Discordant - Homeward path on a stick that pumps and makes tokens Jade Mage - Meh, but its an early token producer if you need it
How I Chose the Cards My first cut, just doing a quick run through the sets, left me with over a hundred cards to look at
Even if it hadn't opened up the possibility of infinite turns before your opponent had finished his second one, the Vault's power was obvious
The rest of the cards in the set are either brand new (Dragonite-EX, M Pidgeot-EX, Machamp BREAK, Brock's Guts, etc.), straight-up reprints of recent modern-era cards (Venusaur-EX, Charizard-EX, and Blastoise-EX), or reprints of recent modern-era cards with brand new artwork (Misty's Determination, M Blastoise-EX, etc.)
Win Conditions And Flaws The primary win condition of the deck is winning through combat
